We recently spent a weekend camping with friends at Discovery Bay Coastal Park in the west of Victoria, an area with abundant history and natural beauty.

I opted out of a Nikon macro (due to cost) and went with a Tamron 90mm lens. It’s the first one I’ve used so I don’t have anything to compare it to but am very happy with it. I do need to get a tripod though- my hands are quite steady but it’s hard to get clean shots!
What lens do you use?
I have a Sigma 18-250mm which I think is my problem- I know a fixed focus lens will give better results but it’s pretty handy for travel when you don’t want to carry too much. I need to learn a bit more about the functions of my camera before I go spending too much money on it!
